Youth Group
The youth group for young people aged 12-17 meets every Sunday night from 5:30rom 5:30
English: Good News Bible (UK) - GNB-UK
pm - 7 pm in the church hall unless we have special outings. We break during school holidays and on the fifth Sunday of any month.
This is a group that endeavours to create a community of trust and safety for all youth. Together we share how we are feeling about the challenges we are facing in our lives and how we discover who we truly are. The values and beliefs of this group are formed through relevant discussion of the bible and our own life experiences.
Activities range from outings such as hikes, bowling, surfing, and laser tag to discussions on families, school, alcohol and drugs, sex, friends, community, faith, decision making and personal values. Game nights, sleepovers and fun-raisers such as the Leukemia Shaveathon, Forty Hour Famine and a dinner theatre for the Sunrise Orphanage in Cambodia round out our activities.
