Weddings and Baptisms
Baptisms - Baptism is part of our regular worship service. We baptize people of all ages. Baptism occurs on a request basis although we do try and have them at appropriate times of the church year such as Christmas, Baptism of Jesus Sunday (Usually the second Sunday of January), Easter, Pentecost etc. Please call Rev. Ian Hunter (0419 434 156) to make arrangements. He will make a time to meet with you and go over the baptism. You can expect that this will take about an hour.
Weddings - Weddings can be arranged through Chris Matters(8278 3780). The fees for the church and the minister combined are $300.00. If you would like one of our musicians and they are available the fee is $100 for their services. The hall may also be hired out for an additional fee. These fees include the PREPARE course for couples which is completed in advance of the wedding. Rev. Ian usually meets with couples three or four times before the wedding day to discuss the service, do the PREPARE questionnaire and go over the responses and the rehearsal. Elizabeth Alvey, our chair of the congregation, also administers the PREPARE questionnaire and responses when available. Contact with Ian must occur a minimum of 31 days before the wedding.
